Bangladesh Karmachari Kallyan Board (BKKB) has been merged with the integrity of former government employees welfare director and former board of trustees (welfare fund and joint venture fund) to achieve greater welfare at grassroot level with the socio-economic security of all the officials and employees of the government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

In accordance with the approval of the President of Bangladesh, a Board Act, 2004, dated 29-01-2004, issued by Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad, has been published in the Bangladesh Gazette in an additional number of Registered DA-1. Under the law, the former government employee welfare director and the former board of trustees (welfare fund and joint venture fund) integrated the activities of the Bangladesh Karmachari Kallyan Board (BKKB), namely Dhaka Metropolis and started the activities in 8 divisions of the country.
